yeah, even some frozen pizza tastes better than dominos
costco cheese pizza is pretty damn good, their pepperoni is only OK
dunno if i would ever try dominos again -- the local selection is way better.

I want to try the new upgraded recipes. Sounds to me like a lot of posters in this thread are using "past tense" and judging dominoes by their distant past experiences.
Looks like one brave soul so far, with a fair review.

We got Domino's last week and everyone agreed it was improvement.
There's no Dominoes around here without going 'into the city' , but I won't turn my nose up at a chance like might have otherwise.

The previous dominoes we had was edible. not too bad.
The last pizza hut one I could not eat. Absolutely horrible.
Little ceaser's used to be bad, but now is great for $5 a pizza.
Hungry howie's is decent enough.
Donato's is pretty tasty
Unos is usually very very good.
papa johns is ordinary to below average.
papa murphy's stuffed 'zas are very good, their regular pizzas are average.
sam's, wal-mart and costco take n bake are not bad at all, not great, but not bad
pizza king, most of the places that have this 'brand', we love the ground up pepperoni
Chicago's Gino's East is one of my fave's
Cincy's LaRosa's I love.
The mall pizza place, has NY style, is so so. Their breadsticks (filled) are more of a favorite of mine than their slices.

those are called pizza bones. The stuff left in the center after all the slices are gone is pizza poop.

I tried the new Domino's "pizza." It was much better than the old "pizza" -- which they still sell. You have to specifically request the new-style "pizza" if that's what you want.
The sauce is watery, but much better than the old sauce in that it didn't give me heartburn all night.
The cheese is still basically shredded sugar-coated laminated cardboard.
The crust is basically a big flat flaky garlic bread stick. It tastes great, but is a drippy oily mess and eating it feels like begging for cardiac arrest.
Having tried it once, I'm not inclined to have it again. If the only place near me that delivered was Domino's then maybe the new crust would encourage me to order it once or twice a year. With lots of pizza choices locally, I've got plenty of options that are better than Domino's "pizza."

I recently started making my own. Without even knowing what I was doing, results were at Least as good -mostly better than Any restaurant pizza I've had locally.
About $2 vs $14-20.
Hear ye, O, Pizza God: I entreat ye to impart thy wisdom to the heavenly dough recipe! (I more or less followed the steps on the back of a little pack of pizza crust yeast)
