Mine is Walter.

What do you think? Involuntary manslaughter?

I doubt that Obama gives a rats ass about it one way or another - he actually made a joke about it
during his remarks at the Alfred E. (Emanuel) Smith Foundation Dinner saying that whoever named him that
had no idea that he would go on to run for the presidency.

Like Greg said, an attempt to label that was a massive failure along with the rest of the McCain campaign.

He should change his middle name to How - as in Barrack "How you like 'dem apples ?" Obama

looks like more people have trouble spelling Barack correctly than Hussein. :-)

Another question: when did Obama ever say is was NOT OK to use his middle name?

Ask his campaign. Did you see the H anywhere on campaign literature? I am sure it was an accident. By constantly referring to himself as the guy with a funny name he was trying to inoculate himself so no one would bring it up. The issue really is not his middle name or his past, it is just that he needlessly ran away from it.

Interesting how perceptions will vary. I view the issue as the implied labeling that I mentioned, above.

OK, but you didn't answer my question. And your last two sentences appear to contradict one another. How could he "constantly" refer to his name and run away from it at the same time?

Did McCain regularly use his middle name or initial in any of his campaign literature?
