The dealer wants my car back
#41
Right now, there are no pristine off -lease vehicles to buy, and new are going for over MSRP.

Going to be this way for another year or two likely.

The rental companies dumped most of their fleets in 2020, and replacing them has sucked up a lot of the new stuff, all at once.

For many many reasons, the US needs to be making chips here.

I use to drive 40k a year. I bought base cars and made a point of not trading until I hit 250k. The last one I bought was a 2009 Nissan Sentra, I retired five months later and had 20k on it. I still drive it today with 110k but since retiring last year, my driving is now around 300 miles a month. So at that rate, I may not be trading until 2061.

I get "we want your Audi" letters all the time.

Sales promotion to get you to buy a new car.
