There's this strange inverse curve thing that happens after 100 times though-- it starts to get funny again.

Seriously, if someone like BGnR does something "100 times" and you don't like it, and you haven't learned to either see the humor in it or ignore it, I think there's something wrong with you, not him.

Good point. I believe that's what the "ignore" link was designed for.

Although I might not think everything BGnR posts is funny, some of them are. I have often been known to poke fun at my own typos or friends typos. I think a lot of people automatically assume BGnR is always trying to be hostile. That's the funny thing about written communication - you can't always judge the "tone" of a message.

Well, it just happened to be the point of discussion here. I do ignore it, but I still notice it. It went from mild annoyance to brief "eye-roll" annoyance to "Now I just expect it". It's not like a started a "STFU" thread.

And if some people find it insulting and abusive, maybe it needs to be pointed out. If someone liked to use the word "fag" or "gay" all the time "just to be funny" would you simply ignore it? And I mean all the time. Not just once or twice.

I find the typo "jokes" to be very arrogant. Who has never made a typo? Why point it out every single time? I totally fail to see the humor in mocking someone, and trust me the tone is one of mockery not humor. If it is meant to be humorous it is a total failure.
