Apparently you learned your lesson.

And honestly, I kind of wanted to see if y'all would boot me out the way my dad told me you would. But it was mildly amusing.

So, you *are* a troll. Obviously dad knew that, but assumed this was a typical PC forum.

Nobody booted you out, so obviously your dad lies to you. This explains your tortured soul and need for attention.

Even you have to admit you got more credit and attention than you deserve in people even reading your post in the first place.

Well I'm annoyed with my newis Mac Pro because the Superdrive won't recognize commercial music CDs. It'll recognize DVDs, and burned data on DVD or CD.

This should not happen on a $2500 computer, even if Apple doesn't manufacture the drive itself.

News flash-- APPLE DOES NOT MANUFACTURE YOUR OPTICAL DRIVE!!!
Read what I wrote: even if Apple doesn't manufacture the drive itself.

I've had four Apple laptops and I've had three hard drives fail. So I would say I'm either really unlucky or Apple is rather uncaring as to whether or not the hard drives they buy have a sh!tty failure rate.

I had three drives fail from Apple. the first in an iBook G3, eventually they replaced it with a iBook G4, then they replaced that one with a MacBook, all for the cost of one iBook G3 Back whenever that was.
Sold the MacBook and bought a MacBook Pro 17" HD in August 2008, so far no more problems, and I leave it up and running 24/7.
