Bought a MacBook Pro, 13-inch: 2.26GHz, for Mrs carl. Also purchased 2-2GB RAM modules to upgrade the memory. I think she will like this machine.

Oh, and as to the topic on hand, I just got a refurb Time Capsule from Smalldog. That's as close as I'm going to get to getting an Apple Macintosh this Christmas. Car broke down again, costing lots of money.

This year I'm trying to talk my dad into an Airport Express and an AppleTV for him. It's the first year they've got modern Apple hardware (MacBook Aluminum and Time Capsule) so I'm seeing how they might make better use of it.

I just bought a MacBook but I'm tempted to get a replacement for my old desktop Mini. Also, one of those new Nanos would be sweet. I should probably invest in an extra power adapter purchased from our sponsor OWC and also a spare notebook battery as well.
