There really isn't much to it. It doesn't qualify as a medication, because it doesn't contain any antibiotics or steroids. "A sterile, buffered solution that has the same tonicity and ph as normal tear fluid." I don't see how it could do any harm. Now will it do any good? It depends on why you're looking for an eyewash.

warm water on a cloth alone doesn't work ?
(we had some vaseline type product for a while) Is it bad enough and caused by a tear duct problem ?
