The circulation department did change my existing balance from delivery to online, I haven't tried it yet. I'm thinking the iPad would be more useful for that rather than a desktop.

The iPad is actually more useful for reading the newspaper than the actual newspaper itself.

It all got pumped with the elimination of the afternoon papers and editions. Instead of the Atlanta Journal and the Atlanta Constitution we got the Atlanta Journal/Constitution or the AJC.
