I have an iPhone 5 that died a few years ago. Apple genius said it would be $150 so I replaced it with an iPhone 6 for slightly less. It cannot be wiped or reset, something causes it to be stuck at the connect to iTunes warning and that’s it.
There is also an iPad 2 that is mostly functional but has some water damage due to a leaky pipe. I use it for a few things such as the forum and a few other minor tasks. Any heavy lifting and the apps crash.
I have an iPad 1 that doesn’t really do much anymore other than act as a Roku remote control backup.
Any useful ideas on what to do with these devices? How do I responsibly and safely dispose of these devices?
