This was the big favorite when I was a girl. Then Kodak used it, and I suppose that tainted it. But now it's been so long that I doubt anyone remembers the commercials, so it might be good to go again:
Turn Around - Kingston Trio
Where are you going my little one, little one,
Where are you going my baby my own?

Turn around and you're two,
turn around and you're four,
Turn around and you're a young girl
going out of the door.

Where are you going,
my little one, little one?
Dirndls and petticoats,
where have you gone?

Turn around and you're tiny,
turn around and you're grown,
Turn around and you're a young wife,
with babes of your own.

Turn around (turn around) turn around,
and you're a young wife
with babes of your own.

Where are you going,
my little one, little one?
Where are you going my baby my own?

Turn around and you're two,
turn around and you're four,
Turn around and you're a young girl,
going out of the door.

Where are you going
my little one, little one?
Dirndls and petticoats,
where have you gone?

Turn around and you're tiny,
turn around and you're grown,
Turn around and you're a young wife,
with babes of your own.

Turn around (turn around) turn around,
and you're a young wife,
with babes of your own.

u folks are gr8, keep the songs coming

$tevie-i will check that out.

i was also thinking about "the circle game"

anyone know of really good versions of the circle game?

"walk of life"/dire straits, great somg-just didn't work.

mikef-wonderful lyrics, the pace of the song is slower than the slides i need to screen

sscutchen-the green day is a winner. be it feels so done being THE song for graduation ceremonies. i'll check out your other selections.

rand-i'll check on the donnas

so far, the leaders are john lennon's version of "stand by me" and ray charles version of "halleluhah, i love her so"

really appreciate the input.

be well
