First; All fill-in fields look like they're on a PC... (poorly defined right and bottom edges, and harsh corners)...
Second; no as-you-type spell check (that I have found yet) like Safari.
OTHER than those two points, I love this browser!
VERY VERY fast page loading.
Thus far, ALL secure sites (banks, credit cards, etc) that I have tried have worked flawlessly.
I've switched over at work, and on my iBook at home... when I have time, my G4 will get Firefox also.
Why haven't I tried this before?
Too lazy to give it a fair shot when Safari has been working adequately...

I'm still an OmniWeb guy; love this browser. The new 5.5 betas are quite fast, too.

Firefox's best feature is the plugins.
Get Adblock
That said, I still prefer Camino. (Now with auto-fill!)

FireFox is a great developers' browser.
I still love how stuff looks in Safari, though.
It's a huge disappointment to see my pages on Windows after viewing them on the Mac.

I like using Firefox for a few reasons. Not the least of which is that I am on a PC at work, and I like being able to use the same browser at home and in the office. Just one little way to make life simpler. Plus using the brushed metal theme makes it appear that I am on a Mac when browsing at work. :-) And oh yes, I love Adblock.

Try Opera and see how you like it. It's free.

I find that Firefox downloads PDFs rather than opening them "within" the browser, as Safari does. Is there some setting I need to change?

Hey Paul,
Did you DL the Google toolbar to use with Firefox? It is a good addition. Has spell check, not on the fly, and autoFill and other goodies.
