I have an Epson R300 printer which I mostly use for printing directly on optical disks. To do so, one must place said disk on a tray which the printer ingests, then prints onto the disk, then regurgitates. As it is, I have to give my tray a bump EVERY time it needs to be inserted, probably due to wear & tear on the tray and rollers. (Quite an annoyance, since I have to pay 5x as much attention to it than normal).
I've noticed that a few months ago Epson released a new revision of the tray. I guess this version is 1-piece and doesn't have a small clear plastic flap at the end.
Anyone have one of these? They work well?
Anyone had one of the old styles, upgraded, and experienced something relevant enough to add comments to this thread?
I'm helping a few friends' bands out with promotion and will be printing quite a few disks out in the near future. I'm also considering buying a new R220 from Staples. It's $99 online, I have a $10 off $100 coupon + nine of the $3 ink coupons... Comments?
