Why did my camera sell for so much?

The S70 is considered one of the most capable compacts available. People were livid when the S80 dropped RAW. Many of them sold their S70's in anticipation of buying the S80, then turned around and re-bought the S70.
Canon's Pro 1, is in a similar value situation. A do-everything wide-angle RAW machine. Canon surprised by not updating it. Now it's worth much more than is reasonable. I've been offered $600 dollars for mine. |
