Let me start out by saying the team I choose to root for has been the Super Bowl winner for the last 8 years straight. So if you like either team it's in your best interest to get me on your side!
I'm not a fan of either team; I don't have money on either team.
Reasons I have to root for the Bears:
- I'm a diehard Lions fan so having a team win from the same Division is nice.
- I'm a Bucs fan because of location. Lovie Smith was a Bucs coach.
- As a kid, I spent my summers in Chicago.
- I really, really, really dislike Peyton Manning.
- I have a small wager I made years back stating Peyton would never win a Super Bowl.
Reasons I have to root for the Colts:
- Tony Dungy was a Bucs coach and still has a house in the area here.
- Tony Dungy needs a win to vallidate his brilliance as a coach.
- Tony Dungy lost his kid a couple years back.
- Tony Dungy is a nice guy.
- Um, their coach is Tony Dungy.
So who should I be rooting for and why? (My allegiance can be bought for a day.)
