Because en Mexico they make it with real sugar, the way Coca Cola was meant to be made. In 1980 or so, Coca Cola changed their formula in the US to switch from cane sugar to corn syrup.

There's a definite difference. People noticed. Then came New Coke....

Around here they make two liter bottles with yellow caps for Passover; that is kosher Coca Cola.

The ingredients list "sucrose" instead of corn syrup or sugar. And in fact, it tastes just like the corn syrup Coke (he says, having just finished off his second two liter bottle of it).

No, the kosher Coke isn't the same as that which is hecho en Mexico.

1985 was the year, to save a few pennies.
I personally think that corn is really screwing with our system. I am using the "OUR" meaning non-native americans, corn is a new world crop that has been really genetically messed with.
