3 Slots are Faster Than 4!

At least that's what the preliminary data suggests...

Latest test's on Memory in the "New" MacPro seems to verify that max performance is achieved by filling only 3 of the 4 slots in each memory bank!

I heard that on one of the latest TWiTs or MacBreak Weeklys.

Instead of upgrading in pairs, the best performance (interleaving?) is done in triples.

So, now we have independent confirmation that the Quad core box is crippled by having only 4 slots.
