Ok, I know that's futile... in a little under two months I've had two great friends pass. Both of them were truly great people, and I don't say that lightly. Both of them have had a major positive impact on many lives, one of them probably hundreds and the other one possibly 10's of thousands. Both will leave a legacy that continues doing good on this earth.
One lived about six months after he was diagnosed with cancer. He was in extremely great shape for being in his 70's - won a body building championship two years ago (all natural.) The doctors said he probably had cancer for ~5 years before the symptoms showed. But since he picked up body building that probably kept his body in good shape for all those years. Unfortunately it meant when they did find it, they could never determine the source, since it was everywhere. About once a week for those six months, doctors told him he only had two or three days to live. There's a couple blurbs about him online: http://www.evolutionbellevue.com/walts-cancer-fight http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/24319547/w...73/from/ET I knew him, his wife, his brother, two of his kids, all of their kids...
*sigh*
The other passed suddenly from a rare internal injury. I knew him, his wife, his daughter, sons and some of his relatives. He's had a major impact on my life, and I'm not even sure what to say about him. He's written many books, is an international speaker...
