ISO; 2.5" FW enclosure

in order to reuse one of my MBP drives.

I will use it for my FW400 iMac, but could buy the FW800 cable if need be, obviously.

I think I've got a FW400 to 2.5" IDE enclosure somewhere if you're interested.

Oh, you want to use it with SATA? Nevermind.

Either the drive is from a Powerbook, not a Macbook Pro, or yes, you do need an SATA enclosure.

If that G4 has USB 2, thats more than fast enough -- USB cases are $5, not $50...

no on the USB 2.0, which is why I need to use the FW port.

If you get that OWC version, you'll have to add a FW400 to FW800 converter cable, too. And maybe the AC power adapter.

yes, it's getting sort of expensive. but, I would like to reuse this drive. maybe i'll just mothball it for the moment.
