I need to get a couple of pretty good scales. There are two main uses. One is to weigh me, the other is to weigh luggage for airline limits. The two scales will be in different locations so I would like to weigh more or less the same in both locations. They should also be accurate enough to keep me out of trouble with the airlines. Seeing the scale display with luggage on it is a problem I have with my current scales and would like to solve. A mechanical scale with a pedestal would be kind of clumsy and hard to move around. Any suggestions?

I weigh luggage by holding the luggage in my arms when I stand on the scale, and then subtracting my weight. Just a thought.

I have a couple of handheld luggage scales that I like. One uses a mechanical dial, the other one is digital, and they are both very accurate.

As far as a personal scale, I have one from iHealth that Bluetooths to my phone to record my progress.

I thought this would be easy, but all the remote display scales I remembered have been discontinued. Looking at a quick selection online, just get one of the handheld for the luggage.

Just subtract 3-5 lbs from the luggage scale - not because it is inaccurate but because the airport scales often are (and, oddly enough, never in your favor).
