Job etiquette question
#1
if you were the human resource manager of a company, would you put this on your linked-in profile? yes or no? the current company has ongoing furlough.

  • Develop and manage ongoing furlough program for 560 employees; familiar with unemployment laws and assist with company lay- offs

It's a definite skill but you may only attract people who need a hired killer.

To be clear, this is in THEIR skills, not about an open position. The company has a hiring freeze at this time.

Putting that on your resume only invites others to hire you for those skills. That's all I'm saying.

Maybe, but not in so much detail?

Aren’t there only two basic kinds of companies that’s going to jump out at? A company looking to do large scale layoffs to squeeze staff to generate more profit, or a company feeling the heat and looking to stay afloat by slashing costs (while also squeezing employees)?

Would you consider landing at either one of those sticking the landing?
