....and it's followed by WordleBot's add'l commentary.
OK, so I started today’s Wordle w/ “TARSE”, one of my faves, and got 3 greens at the end. That left the following possibles:
.

.
These are those six possibles that were left.....
“CURSE”, “HORSE”, “NURSE”, “PURSE”, “VERSE”, and “WORSE”
Blogic then looked to cull as many unique identifier letters from those six words into the next word played that would generate the solve.
Blogic found that the “CU” from “CURSE”, the “HO” from “HORSE”, and the “P” from “PURSE” should do it, by nicely melding into “POUCH”.
“POUCH” = “CURSE” w/ gold "UC"
“POUCH” = “HORSE” w/ green "O" and gold "H"
“POUCH” = “NURSE” w/ gold "U"
“POUCH” = “PURSE” w/ green "P" and gold "U"
“POUCH” = “VERSE” w/ no colored letters
“POUCH” = “WORSE” w/ green "O"

.
and here's WordleBot's take on the sitch.....
.
[spoiler]

Except that WordleBot's solution didn't preclude "HORSE" as a possible solve.
WordleBot coulda, shoulda, mighta used "PORCH" instead of "MOURN" in hindsight.
BTW, "TARSE" took over as my favorite starting word, from its "RATES" (and "TARES") anagrams.....,
since/when Wordle purged its plural words shortly before Thanksgiving.
My last plug for "RATES" to start Wordles was just a couple of weeks before they pulled the plug on plurals.
WordleBot often frustrates me. As a retired database guy, I've mentally designed a better WordleBot, so when the real NYT WordleBot spews a logical error that my mental WordleBot wouldn't have, it makes me wanna eat junk food, or at least ice cream or chocolate.
Today we agreed, so the freezer is safe until tomorrow. Not sure about the candy bowl.
