A guilty verdict just means an appeal, and we kick the can down the road a few more months.

There are 34 counts, each requiring a verdict. Just one guilty means he is a felon and loses many rights. Unfortunately being elected president isn't one of those, although he will have lost at least one vote - his own since felons cannot vote in Florida.
