Wow, that is huge.

http://www.apple.com/imac/features.html
"Mini DisplayPort.

The Mini DisplayPort lets you connect an external display, including the Apple LED Cinema Display, to your iMac. On the 27-inch iMac, the same port offers input, too. So you can connect any external source that has DisplayPort output — including a MacBook or MacBook Pro — and use your iMac as a display."

I wonder if YouTube and other flash movies skip with this Mac? Smile

It's irritating that the i7 costs $200 more. Retail pricing, there's only about $80 difference between the i5 and i7.

This almost deserves a sticky!

27" might outriggers on the screen!

I maxed out the Quad's hardware $3868 !

Of course.

But how easy is it to install an HD on the new iMacs? I don't imagine it's any *easier*, but I have no clue.

Does this new remote do anything the old remotes don't? I seemed to think the old ones were more Front Row centric.

my point is Apple will overcharge wherever it can.

even on user-installable RAM or hard drives.

i wouldn't have a problem paying for a faster CPU or GPU in an iMac - I'm not going in to replace it myself.
