Firewire never became ubiquitous so enclosures are not cheap, unfortunately.

I've been happy with a Sabio DUAL 2.5" HDD enclosure. It has USB2, FW800 AND eSATA. Mine came complete with a soft case, ALL cables AND a 110V wall wart. I saw a deal on the case alone for $30. Now I only see them with HDs loaded.
