I hear Apple got a great deal on unopened cases of Zunes. It was determined that the value of new Zune was roughly equivalent to a used 2005 Nano. Apple has hired an out of work RIM engineer to relabel the devices using a colored Sharpie.

My White Nano has zero battery life. but plays just fine on a dock. I dunno If I want to let it go, esp since my 4g Nano and iPhone still work!

This news made my day!

My beloved black nano is still my favorite way to listen to music but it's getting old & the battery doesn't hold a charge as well as it used to. Apparently it qualifies for a replacement!

I haven't used my iPod Nano for a couple years since the battery died and won't hold a charge. I keep meaning to take it to the Apple Store and trade it in to get 10% off a new one. Thanks to my procrastinating, I qualified for one through this trade.

Count me in. Looks like they send you a box for shipping it back. Seems to me that a MPA would be fair. After all, I could have been blowed up.
